我们抛不开放不下忘不掉的一个人，一些过往，总是藏在了记忆最深处，却又轻易的因为一句话，一首歌，一个背影而忽然清晰的浮上来，在记忆的湖水中飘起一个透明的泡沫，小小的，只有短暂的光亮，可那是它的一生。An ambitious newspaper reporter (Dick Powell), eager to scoop the competition, wishes he could know the news before it happens. A mysterious old man (John Philliber) grants the reporter that power, even as he cautions against using it. Now able to predict the news 24 hours in advance, the reporter goes about scooping all the other papers, picking sure-fire winners at the race track, and enjoying life... until he learns -- in advance, of course -- of his own death.
